Ms. Masuko Unayama of SyuRo designs everyday items with craftsmanship and plans many original products. She founded SyuRo in 1999. The store opened in 2008 in Torigoe, Tokyo, where old small factories still exist.

The artisan who makes SyuRo Round Tin Containers left his company when he was 29 years old, and now he and his wife make them in a small factory on the first floor of their home.
