A Natsume-type iron pot that was crafted for centuries. Its simple and practical design expresses its long history. By preparing tea with water boiled from this pot, you can achieve a mild sweetness. It offers a pleasant taste that will help you understand why the world of sado uses iron pots.

Chobundo
Empty hot water while still hot and remove the lid after use to let the inner side dry from the residual heat. Do not heat empty. Do not touch the inner side of the iron pot. No washing detergent is necessary. Magnesium and calcium will accumulate and crystalize into white scales through use. This has anti-rusting effects and is considered ideal for an iron pot that has been used for a long period. Rust may accumulate through age. To remove any rust odor, boil the pot with used green tea leaves and dispose of the hot water. Repeat this process several times. Dry thoroughly before storing. Although IH compatible, the pot may not boil efficiently since it wasn't made exclusively for IH use.
