Made in
Japan
Saitama prefecture's Sayama tea is cultivated in one of Japan's major production sites that is close to the northern limits for cultivation, and the sprouts must endure the cold climate while growing slowly, hence growing thick tea leaves that offer full flavor. And during the final stages of tea manufacturing, a strengthened firing process is applied (called "Sayama firing") to create a rich flavor.
